Prophetic Word November 23, 2018
One of the tactic of the enemy is to make you think you’ve found your nest with people you think you belong with. But you know their true character.

They are not your destiny.

Your belonging is in Christ, not in people.
The enemy will send people to make you feel comfortable or familiar and because you’ve felt “alone” for so long you will think “maybe this is where I belong”, but

ARE they pushing you to GROW or allowing you to be STUCK in mud?

True friends will pull you out of the mud and not allow you to stay in it or even allow you to drown in mud.

Beward of wolves in sheep skin, they might even be your family members or friends.
A true prophet will not say what you want to hear but tell you the truth. A desire to fit in and be accepted by those around you will be detrimental to your growth.
You belong to God.
You are already accepted and approved by God.
Your only way is forward.

Beware of those who want to entertain you with mud (the past) because God wants you to move forward.
You must push through the familiar voices, they are distractions from your destiny and true freedom.

Beware of those who just say what you want to hear or give advice that allow you to stay stuck.
Not everyone will make it out. Some will stay in the mud.

You don’t dim your light to accommodate peoples’ darkness, you shine your light- even brighter to bring change to darkness.

 

Just because it feels comfortable doesn’t mean it’s a path from God. Sometimes the more you find your freedom the more you should face and confront difficult conversations and blockages. 

Because your path to FREEDOM comes with battles.

What Is Your Life Built On?

Matthew 6:19-21

Treasures in Heaven

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Is your life built on what others think of you?

If your life built on what your parents expect from you?

Is your life built on a career, something that might shift and change?

Is your life built on money, accruing more stuff, more houses, more clothes? (where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal)

Is your life built on finding the perfect guy/girl? (there is no such thing as perfection)

Is your life built on fame and reputation? (someone will always have something to say)

My life is built on Jesus.

I’ve lived my life for others before, I was a mommy pleaser, I tried to be the good Asian daughter, the driven and accomplished model citizen, but then I followed Jesus into entrepreneurship, freelancing, eventually answering the call to be a pastor to the lost sheep. I had no reputation, I actually gained haters and gained ill repute with some family members. I have trolls on my blog.

But I think that if I didn’t answer my call, I wouldn’t be praying for people who have breast cancer, I would be healing broken hearted people, I wouldn’t be praying over homeless people “you are not an orphan, but a son of God, I break off the spirit of orphan, fear and rejection, you are not a criminal, but forgiven”.

There is no better feeling than knowing that YOU’VE imparted TRUE identity to someone.

To tell them YOU ARE FREE! No longer under condemnation.

YOU ARE FREE.

A testimony from the other day: 

Today I felt led to pray for a lady in the bathroom and after she said, next time pray for me again. I have cancer. She said I have breast cancer and am going through treatment. So I prayed for her again. This time in a vision I actually saw her breast grow back, have never seen that but I said yes you are healed.

Then later on I picked up a 5 cents coin and looked up to see a homeless man. I prayed for this man Dean and he told me his story. His coworker was trying to harm him and he reacted with violence. He was charged with attempted murder. Two years in prison, he got out and he didn’t have family to turn to and started living on the streets.

I was praying “you are not an orphan, you are a son of God”. He said he became so close to Jesus on the streets. He says that people who everything have nothing without Jesus. I agreed with him.

I said you are called to be a preacher. He said, I know. I’ve been running away.

Then I told him my testimony of being called. Not with a specific church, not ordained, have no seminary background. But I do His work everyday, praying for those that need it.

We talked a lot while sitting on the ground, under the sun. I’m pretty sure many passerbys were staring, but we were flowing.

He said he had a brother in Cape Town. I said God wants you to reach out to him. I said “you don’t realize this but when you ask people for help, when they help you God actually blesses them. So in actuality you are actually helping them break out of the spirit of fear and lack”.

Then I prayed for a lady in a chinese restaurant who was very worried about his son not succeeding in math class. He is 9 years old, in a cram school. I said, your child is God’s. He will take care of him. It’s not your responsibility to worry, let go and surrender this to God.

The enemy has silenced women for so long with guilt, shame, accusation and intimidation BUT WHEN YOU know you are pure and righteous by the BLOOD OF JESUS you will RISE SO HIGH. YES I JUST FEEL LIKE GOD IS SAYING COME OUT OF HIDING!!! YOU HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE, BECAUSE I’VE ALREADY PROVED IT ON THE CROSS. YOU don’t have to defend yourself because I AM YOUR GREAT DEFENDER!

RISE and SHUT THE ENEMY UP.

ASK FOR WHAT YOU NEED AND WANT. YOU don’t have to SUGAR COAT IT because I’ve PAID THE PRICE FOR IT!

You deserve it. YES I JUST SILENCE THE VOICE OF INTIMIDATION AND GUILT. NO YOU ARE NOT GUILTY OF THE PAST, YOU MAY HAVE MADE MISTAKES BUT JESUS has WASHED YOU CLEAN.

YES you are NOT AN ORPHAN, you are a mighty child of GOD! People will judge you or accuse you but your LAWYER JESUS says “you are righteous by the blood of Jesus, there is NO condemnation for those that are in CHRIST JESUS”.

It’s time to remove the shackles of fear and guilt.

YES GOD. WE DECREE AND DECLARE there will BE NO MORE OCEANS to drown you but THE LORD will part the seas for you! I PRAY acceleration and I DECLARE all provisions and PEACE BE onto you. YOU ARE ENOUGH, you are NOT LACKING. I PRAY THE DOORS OF HEAVEN be OPEN, I PRAY everything that has YOUR NAME ON IT be RELEASED IN PERFECT TIMING.

YES LORD we AGREE.

Every weapon against you be destroyed in the NAME OF JESUS, every setback, every discouraging thought, every stronghold of depression or oppression be loosed from your mind and heart in JESUS NAME! Every anxious thought be replaced with YOUR LOVE JESUS!

Only YOU Lord can set us free. And you have already done that on the cross. SO WE CLAIM it, we inherit it as HEIRS on this CONTRACT signed by your BLOOD JESUS!

YES WE ARE HEIRS AND NOT ORPHANS! WE inherit every rightful authority, provision, blessing, restoration of relationships, right relationships, alignment of ministry and life calling, angels of protection and provision, health, and more in Jesus name!

Protect The Word God Gave You

When you are in a transition season, you will often be tested.

“The farmer sows the word. Some are like the seeds along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

Others are like the seeds sown on rocky places. They hear the word and at once receive it with joy. But they themselves have no root, and they remain for only a season. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

Still others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word, but the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Yet others are like the seeds sown on good soil. They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.” Matthew 13:18-23

When I was younger, I used to tell everyone what God told me (just like Joseph with his family). In truth, I wanted approval. I wanted someone to say “oh wow, goodness, you are going to be this and that, I am so proud of you and I totally believe what God told you”.

Then as I grew up, I realize that not everyone believed me and instead they put me down and laughed at me. 

There were some seasons where God told me to not tell a soul, then recently He told me it was okay to tell a few trusted souls after months of incubation. The outcome was not always what I expected. Instead, I found myself doubting the word God gave me. 

“Why would you tell me it’s okay to tell people when you KNEW it would put doubt in my heart?” – Me

“To strengthen your faith and resolve”- God

It says that “trouble and persecution comes BECAUSE of the word”. So why the heck would I want to have a word from God if trouble and persecution will come BECAUSE of that word? 

Because when THE WORD bears fruit….They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold. 

When I realized that it was just the enemy trying to shake me from God’s promises for me, I quickly forgave the people who started attacking me. I realize this was just a test for me to see how unshakable my faith was in what GOD told me.

Why would God allow it?

To make sure HIS word has taken roots in my heart and that I will not be shaken when trouble, persecution, cares of this life, deceitfulness of wealth and the desire for other things comes.

He is building an unshakeable people, not a shakeable people that will walk away from His promises right when other people start attacking or putting doubts in their mind.

In Genesis, Satan asks “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat of any tree in the garden?’” (this was preached by Toure Roberts here)

He first attempts to put doubt in Adam and Eve’s mind….did God really say? 

The woman answered the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden, but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden, God has said, ‘You must not eat of it or touch it, or you will die.’”

“You will not surely die,” the serpent told her. “For God knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Then HE gives them a new word that contains a LIE in it. 

He told them a lie so that they would STEP out of the promise God had for them. When they chose to believe the lie, they acted upon the lie. 

I feel like this is not the season to have self-doubt.

God has given you a word and it is time to nurture that word and not give any opening to the enemy to abort that word.

I think that is why God often did not want me to reveal what He was doing in my life (or going to do in my life) because He knew I wouldn’t be able to withstand the accusations or opinions that came with exposure. 

I pray that you would be able to withstand the testing as your rest in the perfect grace of God. You do not need anyone’s approval to walk into the WORD GOD gave you. 

Whatever He has told you, protect it with your life.

People often abort what God is doing because they’ve exposed it too quickly and exposed themselves to attacks they cannot handle. Because of that they walk away from what God originally told them.

You do not need a pastor, mentor, friends or family to agree with what God has told you. You just need a word from God.

Love Is What You Are.

I wasn’t going to write but my back started itching and it started itching behind knees too. My body is very reactive when I try to block emotions or something I really need to or want to do. Sometimes it’s the “I don’t want to deal with it right now” in me that blocks creativity because creativity is, well confronting and emotional. But you never know what will come.

This morning I had a revelation:

“You will not be defined by your career, work, your friends, your parents, your history, your accolades, your accomplishments, your house, your car, your clothes, your makeup, your speech….you will be defined as love“. 

Love is what you are. 

When you are love, you don’t have to force yourself to serve to show love or be loved, you are love.

You do things out of love because you are pure and untainted love. Thus, you will also choose not to do things that you don’t love or that causes your heart to weep.

There is no guilt or shame, just love.

So then why do we struggle?

We struggle because we do not accept that God loves us unconditionally – because we have been taught by society and perhaps our parents that “love is earned“.

If you don’t clean your room, you won’t get to eat.

If you are not a good girl, mommy won’t give you stickers or toys.

There always seems to be a condition to love and love seems like a business transaction if you grew up that way. A trade, that is what love seems to be in our world. 

There must be a better way- unconditional love.

That seems impossible, not impossible if you accept unconditional love from God. If you continue to receive this love, your heart will expand and cause you to love in impossible ways. 

I have forgiven myself when all I wanted to do was continue punishing myself.

I have forgiven people that hurt and wounded me in deep ways.

These were impossible things to me, but God opened my heart.

He has continued to show me that His love is unconditional, unending, restful and beautiful. 

If we look at Jesus, He wasn’t defined by people. He wouldn’t even allow people to label Him or force Him to be something He wasn’t because it was not His time yet-  “Then Jesus, realizing that they were about to come and make Him king by force, withdrew again to a mountain by Himself.” John 6:15.

He walked the earth as love. Knowing who He was, He didn’t need people to applaud Him or tell Him who He was, He knew who He was. He didn’t need people to like Him, in fact He was rejected by most and He continued to love even the haters.

That is radical love.

Love is what you are. 

You need not prove yourself, defend yourself, force yourself. You are love, that is what you are. 

In a world of self-promotion, don’t you think living as pure love will naturally attract the right people?

When we serve to be loved or to love, we are acting out of lack and a half empty cup. 

But when we know that we are love, we live out of abundance and an overflowing cup. 

The Father’s Love Will End Your Search for “Enough”

For many of us, we are taught that “one day you will be enough”.

One day when you find your prince charming and get married, then you’ll be enough (because someone wants you and find you valuable).

One day when you establish your career and make a lot of money, then you’ll be enough (because your worth is defined by the commas in your account).

One day when you contribute to the world by doing philanthropic work, then you will be enough (because your worth is defined by how much you give to the world).

One day when you move out and become independent, needing no one, then you’ll be enough (because you are born a burden to your parents and you are NOT enough when you are born).

All of those, a lie.

Because the search for enough is never ending in this world’s system, if you choose to live in that realm of reality. 

The search ends when you accept and believe that God has made you enough, that you are whole because Jesus took the place for your “not enough” and credited to your account who He is- perfect and “enough”. 

You are, perfect and enough in His eyes. 

There is something settling about finding your place in God’s embrace, when He speaks over you “you are enough”.

Even though your parents, your surroundings, your peers might not find you to be enough, you sink deeper into His unending “enough”. There is an overflowing enough where your burdens are light and your responsibilities little.

All He has called you to is to rest and allow your burdens to become His.

Those burdens seem to vanish quickly, sinking into His love.

Why is it that many of us are cute and unconditionally loved when we are children, but when we grow up it seems that love is limited? 

Because people encounter disappointments after disappointments in their own life…..and they push hopes and dreams on you, hoping that you’ll BE THE ONE to make them happy. 

They hope that MAYBE you’ll give them the hope they need to continue dreaming and living, maybe you’ll be the one to save them.

The truth is only God can do that. Yes, you can give people hope, you can encourage them, but the true responsibility falls to the maker.

Who is the only one that knows you intimately, the one who formed you in your mother’s womb. We find peace and relaxation in His arms, knowing that He is taking care of us. Like a baby, we can sleep in peace and wake in peace.

We understand that it is His job to feed us, to nurture us, to protect us. 

But many of us did not grow up that way, so we continue to live in fear. We live like orphans without a daddy. We become independent in the physical and material realm but still hoping that someone will tell us “I’m proud of you”, “you’ve made it”, and “you are worthy of my love”. 

The truth is, no amount of verbal encouragement will ease the pain and void of not enough…only the embrace of the Father…can we find true ease. 

 

“So it’s okay to come out of hiding now, I know you have been through hurts and disappointments.

I know people have failed you, but my love will never fail you. I will guide you and protect you. I will not leave you or forsake you. I will not disgrace or humiliate you. You are safe under my wings and protection. Come out my hidden ones. It is your time to shine. Come out my beautiful children. I am your Father. I will never hurt you. Come out beautiful children of mine, kings and queens of this earth and the heavenly realms”.

You Are Already In Your Promise Land

I received the revelation that “I’m already in my promise land” when I watched Toure Roberts’ message last night. Thank you PT!

I was having a lot of spiritual warfare and nightmares where the devil was trying to choke me or stop me, but when I heard that “I was already in my promise land” and that is why the enemy is doing everything he can to stop me, I was filled with joy.

Yes, right. What was my promise land anyway?

I stepped into my calling and owned my identity, that’s my promise land. Nothing around me really changed, I didn’t move (Yet), I didn’t have an increase in finance or an immense amount of material increase, NO ONE around me promoted me or gave me a life changing opportunity….but what did God increase IN ME? 

God increased BOLDNESS in my faith.

God increased PEACE and SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY IN ME.

I also finally had the BOLDNESS To STEP into my calling as a prophet/preacher/pastor- ppp.

I didn’t go to seminary, no one ordained me. But the Holy Spirit pushed a button within me, God activated me and said “It’s time” after a LONG TIME in the wilderness. I spent about 2 years just resting and in hiding while God was healing my heart.

I didn’t need anyone’s approval anymore even though the struggle was REAL on the outside even with family member’s asking me why I haven’t gotten a REAL job.

Last time someone asked me that I firmly replied “I am a prophet, I work for God”.

And I didn’t feel insecure about it anymore. Because I literally have the responsibility of LIFE and DEATH on my hand, I have peoples’ lives and blood on my hands.

There are people who are set free from bondage because of the power of God, and this is more than the immediate and temporary relief of human opportunity.

God’s power is life changing.

It releases people from the grips of death, suicide, depression, rage, unforgiveness, poverty, lack, generational curses, infirmity, disease, cancer, addiction, and pure evil. There are evil spirits that roam the earth everyday, suppressing, oppressing and lying to people.

God can set you free. Jesus is the only way. I’m no longer afraid to speak boldly because I know the other side and only darkness resided there.

New Doors Won’t Open Until You Close The Old Doors

I hear God say “I won’t open the new doors if you are unwilling to close the old doors”. 
The new you and old you can’t exist in the same realm.
Some of you will need to quit the old job before you launch your new business.
Some of you need to delete old flings before your husband shows up!

I woke up from a dream where I had moved into a new house but I had let an old fling into my house. God was saying “you still have open doors to the people you need to close doors to!” It was so clear to me…if you don’t let go of the old things you will live a double minded person and never walk into the full promise of what God has for you!!!

Some of you need to shut the window and door completely to the guys or girls you used to like!!!! You say you want a husband or wife but you’re still thinking about the guy or girl you used to like!!! You are still remembering dates and moments with old flings.

You need to delete them completely. No marriage or new relationship will thrive if your heart is on the past. Same goes for career, life, housing, etc…….you must be focused!!!!

You are asking me what I did to close those doors? I deleted and unfriended guys I used to have feelings for. That’s right- HONEST AIN’T I? I deleted old photo albums and EX’s photos!!! You say, but those were the good times, the old times, the memories….NO, can you imagine if you got married to your husband and you found out he still talked to HIS EX? You would feel the same way right? 

God WANTS your full surrender so HE can GIVE YOU THE BEST.
