What You Will Do Anything To Achieve, You Will Achieve

4 months ago, I was sitting on the grass at a Hollywood picnic listening to an author talk about time traveling to the future. He said that all of us are time traveling, but not all of us know where we want to go. As I sat there, I envisioned Paris (I’ve been there, but for some reason I lost all my pictures). I also had stickers of the eiffel tower on my living room wall and had a journal with “Paris is always a good idea”.

I suddenly had this realization, what am I doing here?

Today I’ll have completed my travels, tomorrow I’ll be flying back to Los Angeles. Hey, I miss my LA peeps and dancing in LA.

Where have I gone?

London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Paris, Florence, Rome, Naples, and finally Barcelona. My goal was to prove that I could make money doing one thing I loved, Travel. And somehow with the grace of the universe, with the perseverance of my mind and faith, I did it.

I still was able to make money virtually. This is everyone’s dream isn’t it?

Before I left to Europe, I forced myself to write an ebook. I felt that I was giving all these free advice, but not making a cent sharing my wealth of knowledge. The thing is I’ve SUFFERED A LOT. I’m not telling you this to make you feel bad for me….I’ve suffered, gotten real thin eating rice and kale in the beginning of my self-employment. I didn’t grow up in a rich family, I had low self worth, and ONLY by the grace of divinity, I’ve seen who I really am.

I’m DIVINE, ROYALTY damn it!

I really am! I’m completely whole, everything I want is manifested within first. I need to become THAT person first, the queen that wears her royal coat, her Burberry dress, Miu Miu sunglasses, or whatever you fancy.

Until you see who you really are, you are seriously that princess in rags. Think Disney.

And I’ve also learned that PEOPLE who don’t see who they really are will sometimes judge you, look down on you, think you are crazy, think you are lame, NOT SEE YOUR WORTH. But who has time for haters anyways?

You don’t have time for that. You’ve got to time travel to where you really want to go.

And as I speak….I know that when you get this ebook, you’re signaling to the universe that you are READY to become the queen or king you really are.

Writing From Rome – Thoughts on Being 26 & Living My Dream Life

I’m sitting in a bed (I haven’t exactly slept on a real bed for 12 days) writing this blog post. The sun is reflecting the old rugged building and I’m staring at one of the most beautiful cities on earth, Rome.

I’ve made it, I’m here. I managed to couchsurf for the last 12 days in Paris due to the kindness of a stranger and I’ve been to more cities than I could imagine. I’m living my dream life. Did I think I would be living like this when I was a teenager? I knew I did not want to be like any of the church members I grew up with, don’t get me wrong, I am still close friends with some of them..but I mean the young adults (the ones that got stable jobs and got married, and then had 3 kids). I’m all for it if that’s what you want, but I knew that I wanted something more than that. I’m not saying that I don’t want to get married or have kids, but that’s not all my life is about. I’m also not belittling the dream of stability, but I also know that stability is not in a “stable” job or a 401k.

To me, stability is within ourselves. It’s in a higher being, it’s in becoming one with the spirit, it’s about entering into a deeper relationship with the one who created the whole earth.

My life is about making an impact in this world, becoming someone truly significant, truly phenomenal, truly groundbreaking. It’s about feeling alive and embracing every moment.

Sometimes I forget I’m only 26. I’ve tried so many things in my life that I forget there’s no rush to accomplish more, that whatever I do, I’ve already won because I’m only competing against myself…and the higher meaning is to embrace and live every single moment.

Stability? I don’t have that yet, not in the world’s eyes. But stability in the spirit? Yes, and the great thing is that even when the world keels over and the banks are destroyed, I’m stable because if God is for me, what and who can be against me?

Did I imagine that I’d be sitting here in Rome, hearing the traffic of the bustling city? No.

But I did imagine myself flying around the world, wearing my fashionable bag and outfit, feeling very powerful and in tune with myself. I left my stable 9 to 5 job in July 2011 to be the adventurous, entrepreneurial woman that I am. I still recall people popping 3 pain killers a day to kill the pain within. People cling onto worldly stability but the only stability is our sanity, is our inner peace.

You see, the only way to be happy is to see that you are unique in the eyes of God and that you have a higher purpose in this life. Until you find out who you really are, answer the calling of being the magnificent person you are and connect it with all the talents and skills you already have, you’ll feel miserable trying to fit into other peoples’ box of what you should be and what you should do.

A few years ago, I told myself, I’m totally the girl version of Tony Robbins. I also told people I was Asian Oprah. You see, most people get really frustrated because they don’t see enough progress. Progress takes time, every day at a time. It can take 30 years, 40 even for you to see fruition of your ideas. When I wrote my ebook, I knew it wasn’t the best that it could be, but it was magnificent enough for people to learn from. I knew I wasn’t as good as a speaker as Oprah, but I knew I was good enough, and that if I practiced, I’d be just as good….with the help of the spirit.

Everyday you are simply learning who you really are– people like to tell you otherwise, but everything you have within you is ENOUGH, more than enough to manifest your dream life and complete happiness. It’s all within you. You were born with it.

I left everything the world called stability. I didn’t have health insurance for 3 years, I was barely scraping by. I lost friends who didn’t understand why I was sacrificing everything to go after my vision. My family misunderstood me, called me crazy. They laughed when I said I would be Asian Oprah. Maybe I haven’t made millions, sold thousands of ebooks yet, but I sold a few, more and more….I’ve put myself out there and created workshops to help others, I’ve created courses and have seen people get healed and touched. I’m already there, I’m here. Here is all I have and I can either wait to be “successful” or I can call myself “a success” as is.

Every time I thought I couldn’t go on, another miracle happened. Days turned into months, months into years. That’s because I didn’t give up and I didn’t do it so others could like me, I did it because of a burning desire for something better, something significant, life changing. No I don’t want to live so I could retire. I want to live now. Every time I thought I was going to die broke, another idea came through and another miracle happened. When I want to give up, I look at the days, the years I’ve been able to be self-employed, the multiple streams of income I’ve been able to create without hating my life. GOSH am I lucky, am I blessed. But it took perseverance, it took vision.

I can wait for other people to approve of me, or I can know that I am approved of and loved for who I am.

Until you come alive now, you will never feel like you are enough. You are enough, you are magnificent, brilliant, a shining star. I believe in you.

3 Reasons Why Entrepreneurs Are The Most Stable People

I have been called unstable because I have a vision. How ironic. I have been called unstable because I choose to leave my home and travel to the unknown and foreign land by myself, and be inspired by the road.

People don’t have to understand the vision, but people really don’t need to judge. But most people judge because they are jealous of you, because most people are scared of change. Enjoy my commentary.

: not stable : not firm or fixed : not constant: as- It’s so hilarious because life is unfixed, life is constantly changing even if you choose to hold onto anything, you are constantly getting older, your body is always aging, you are either growing or digressing, pick what you may.

a : not steady in action or movement : irregular <an unstable pulse>- How ironic. Entrepreneurs are CONSTANTLY moving.

b : wavering in purpose or intent : vacillating- Entrepreneurs have 1 purpose, to figure out a better way of life, business, and lifestyle. They are searching for more, they are searching for truth, for a better and faster way to make more income in less time. Entrepreneurs survive in tough times BECAUSE they have a purpose.

3 REASONS WHY ENTREPRENEURS ARE THE MOST STABLE PEOPLE:

1. When all hell breaks loose and a company has no money to pay their employees, entrepreneurs always have a job because they learn to monetize their talents and skills. They will always know how to make income, leave them on the streets, and they will sell something, whether its telling jokes or drawing cartoons on the street.

2. Entrepreneurs learn how to master themselves. They learn to grow with the times and gradually rise to the top…such as riding a wave, you ride it slowly, but steadily and before you know it, you’ve made it to the top of the game and guess what, nobody can bitch!

3. Since we’ve already been through eating ramen for breakfast and selling parts of our dignity to make it in our business, we know that little setbacks aren’t the ends of us. So when other people freak out about first world problems like how the Starbucks lady is super slow making their lattes, we are quietly thanking them because we remember when we couldn’t even afford a cup of coffee. Personally, I have been there, so now I am extra thankful for every gift and every dollar that I am given or make. So guess what, most of us are a lot more resilient and a lot more stable because we’re not going to bitch out on small things…..we’ve seen worse, we’ve been through hell. I know some people have had to make big sacrifices to pursue their dreams, but guess what, ride the waves, ride it and don’t give up…and one day you’ll look down and see that it was all worth it.

Living Your Personal Legend

As I sat outside in the patio taking in the night, I came across Oprah and Paulo Coelho’s interview. I watched it, and was intrigued. I had always heard about The Alchemist, but had never read it. A few days later, I found myself glancing at Oprah’s face in the news stands. You see, I have about 10 magazine subscriptions and always get them for free with my mileage points, so it made no sense to buy one magazine full price. But I remembered a story from my client about how she was totally broke and something in her told her to buy a magazine, in it was a job that got her into the industry she was supposed to be in. You see, she used what little she had and paid in faith. She was rewarded well for her faith. I always remember that story.

Anyways, I bought that Oprah magazine and went to eat lunch. At lunch I noticed yet again Oprah and Paulo Coelho’s interview. I read it. A few days later, I found myself wanting to go to Vroman’s and I bought that 25th anniversary edition. You see, in 1988 Paulo published The Alchemist, this was the year I was born. You might think it is all a coincidence, but I think not. You see when I read about the omens in the book, about how God sends us messages through people and omens, I knew that my life has always been that way. Everything in my life was orchestrated for me to live my Personal Legend, as The Alchemist describes.

You see, if life was simply about attaining wealth, learning to love and be loved by people, attaining things…it would be, well, so practical. Our lives are spiritual journeys into greater destinies and I see our lives as legends. You see, the reason movies are so captivating is because people in movies actually GO AFTER WHAT THEY WANT. You see a man who loves a woman, he chases after her despite continued rejection or obstacles. You see woman living their dreams, dancing on stages around the world. The heroes overcome the obstacles which prevent them from living their highest callings.

In real life, well, we often settle. How many of us are actually living our Personal Legends?

We overdose on alcohol, drugs, sedatives, food, media, useless articles and videos only to confuse our hearts. We refuse to face our hearts because we have disappointed ourselves for far too long. Perhaps you have decided to ignore the little voice within that tells you to make a move, to make a change…because change, can be uncomfortable.

Paulo experienced “one of the definining moments of his life: he walked the five hundred- plus mile Road of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain. On this ancient highway, used for centuries by pilgrims from France to get to the cathedral said to house the remains of St. James, he achieved a self-awareness and a spiritual awakening that he later described in The Pilgrimage”

I believe that when we leave everything we know or are comfortable behind, something miraculous happens; actually in that personal spiritual awakening of love do we truly walk into the authentic destiny we were meant to walk.

You see I believe that whoever I have connected with, even by reading their book, I have now agreed to carry their torch. It’s been 25 years since this book has been written. Many spiritual and political leaders are aging and tiring out. It’s time for my generation of people (20’s and 30’s) to wake up. A few days ago, I had an Art Show and Party. I gave a very relaxed presentation reading of my ebook and 2 secrets of how to live your personal destiny. Someone mentioned that it should be called Ted Talk in the Living Room. I realized that I could deliver my message in any format I wanted to, in jeans, in shorts, in a t-shirt. I realized that I didn’t have to wear uptight dresses or have my makeup be perfect. Maybe my audience are actually people who want to be authentic in every way, completely themselves, no pretentiousness.

There are crazy stories of how people die, about disease, criminals, etc. I’m not saying that we should be unaware of these news, but we are propagating a culture of where we would rather talk about negative news versus encourage goodness in this world.

Sleeping In The Nude

I like to sleep in the nude.

I know, TMI (too much information). The reason I am unveiling this fact is because I am so overwhelmed by how much I manifested this year that I started formulating words in my mind while trying to sleep and well, I really have to get it out there.

2014 has been an incredible incredible year. 2014 marked 3 years of self-employment. I am about to unveil some pretty personal stories.

2014

1. I finally believed and OWNED the fact that I am an amazing entrepreneur who overcame poverty mentality and LEARNED my worth. Everything I have learned in the last 3 years…was like, leading me to NOW. I learned that IT ALL STARTS IN THE MIND. You can’t manifest what you want, or even GO for it, if you don’t think you can achieve it or think that you DESERVE to achieve it. People think that STRIVING and working hard will get them to where they want. Actually, investing in your inner life will DO MUCH MORE than putting in more hours and more energy! OMG REVELATION people. I know…why do people teach the opposite?

2. In January, I started a mastermind of people...we meet at cafes and at home. It’s called KreativHaus (German for Creative House). It’s a bit underground, but will definitely develop!

3. I started teaching yoga and meditation in April and the PHENOMENAL results were astounding. The fact that I was able to bring together like minded people, help them heal and even create a transcendental spiritual community was groundbreaking for me. Watching these people talk and mingle….for an hour of their life, being completely detached from their phones was one of my proudest moments. It makes my heart feel alive and makes me want to cry.

4. In June I had this URGE To take a Comedy Improv Class. This led to the teacher asking me if I was interested in commercial acting. When I was in middle school, I remember feeling like I wanted to be an actress. A yelling drama teacher and a bad grade made me rethink my dream. HOLY CRAP, I gave up that easily….but the universe didn’t give up on me. I took a class and soon, got an offer to sign with a commercial acting agent. I was shocked how easy it was, so shocked that I started doubting myself….you see entrepreneurs doubt too, all the time, but anyways…

5. I broke up with my ex-boyfriend of 2.3 years. I wanted to get married around 30, but he was thinking 10 years more than 30. This was conflicting and I decided that it was best for us to separate. Was it easy? No, hell no. I’m still recovering, but I see life as an upgrade…I also see dating like interviewing for a suitable job. No one is wrong, it’s just not the right job, just not the right person and that’s okay!

6. After going to a lecture about time travel, I decided to ask myself “WHAT DO I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT?” – times 10. I was afraid to reveal this, but ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS TRAVEL. I realized I was being hypocritical by teaching “How To Make Money Doing What You Love” workshops and not traveling while making income….if I taught that you could really make money doing what you love, I needed to make money traveling. So there, I didn’t know how it was going to happen, but I needed to honor my heart.

I booked a flight to London a month ago and have decided to backpack in Europe until December 2. I’ll be there from September 24-December 2. To Ignore Your Dreams Is to Ignore the God In You

To ignore you dreams is to ignore the very divine being that you are.

Lately I have been thinking about why it bothers me so much that my very own family members are “worried” about me when I’m pursuing my dreams and living a life of freedom. I realized that many have been disappointed in life, perhaps they have unfulfilled dreams themselves. At first I tried to ignore it, but now I see that you simply have to move forward, move on without peoples’ approvals. You see, some people will never understand you completely and that’s okay.

The first rule of life is to be authentic. You must be authentic at your core, to lie to yourself, well that’s the easiest thing isn’t it? We often lie to ourselves and that’s called “self-deception”. We deceive ourselves to believe that what others want for us is actually what we REALLY want. Getting down to our core desire is something sacred, it’s a divine gift. Many avoid asking themselves this question “what do I really want?”

Why?

They believe that they don’t really know what’s best for themselves.

They believe that others know better.

They don’t want to confront what the have to DO to get to where they want to be.

Life is already comfortable, why change course?

I said I wanted to be RAW and REAL with my readers. I’ve sold 1 copy of my ebook so far, to my friend who I texted the link to. I can very well be discouraged, or continue to be, or I can say “wow, I sold 1, I’m so proud of myself. This is the first thing ever that I’ve AUTOMATED in my business! BRAVO!”. I mean who can say that they have ever made $25 without having to fulfill the order manually?” Well, yes, I have had to promote it, but my message is my life.

Your best life is to live your highest expression of your very being.

It’s 6:00am and I’m sitting on my bed, I couldn’t sleep because these words kept popping up in my head. This is a compulsion, an addiction, getting these words out to you.

In less than a month, I’ll be on a plane to England. I challenged myself to live what I teach. Make money doing what I love, that is…at this point in my life “TRAVEL”. I thought that I had to achieve a certain number of sales in my real estate career so that I could really travel, but now I see that I was using that as an excuse not to go ahead and live my dreams. You see, that’s the same thing as saying “I have to work a 9 to 5” to travel. I believe that you can travel and work at the same time.

I‘ve taken the necessary steps to set myself in motion for TRAVEL/WORK:

1. Started teaching LIVE workshops: How To Make Money Doing What You Love and Change Your Mind, Change Your Life (September 6, please register, this is going to be a life changing workshop). I plan to teach these workshops in Europe while I am traveling. This will position myself as an international speaker and also spread the word about my brand and ebook.

2. Hired a virtual assistant and a personal assistant (for when I’m still in Los Angeles) – My personal assistant helps me take photos of items I upload onto Ebay and is going to upload all of my business cards so I can declutter and become completely digital. Virtual assistant will help me ship US e-commerce sales. I am planning on drop-shipping with a few companies in LA and also bringing merchandise to Europe to list and sell to the Europe market. In case you are wondering what I sell, I sell jewelry and clothes online through various outlets such as Ebay.

3. Paperless settings on all my bills – so that I don’t have to be present to open my mail.

4. Stop car insurance for when I’m gone- you actually save a lot of money when you travel. Believe me. Just to let you know, I’ll be saving about $280 just on insurance. I could use that $280 to eat and sleep! Simple google DMV and make sure your car is in the right status.

5. Got rid of junk- decluttered, donated, gave away, sold whatever I could.

It feels pretty amazing to fly and to take the weight (physical and material weight) off my shoulders. BRAVO.

3 years ago I walked away from a steady paycheck, health insurance and a table I had to sit at for 8 hours a day.

What resulted was 1-2 years of eating kale and rice, lots of fun appearing on TV, building furnitures from the streets, selling jewelry from my living room and a wine box and NEVER going back to the normalities of 9 to 5 life.

I backpacked in Ecuador, Brazil, Australia and Taiwan in the 3 years I have been self-employed. Previously, I visited Japan teaching English, Europe teaching art, and well, who said travel had to be expensive?

Long story short, I want to show you how you can make a living doing what you love……

In fact, I BELIEVE in dreams so much that I am living it. In 2 months I will be going to Paris, not knowing how YET. I will be backpacking throughout Europe and recording videos and writing about my whole trip. I’m a princess in my own fairy tale.

It’s about LIVING versus making a living.
