Mr. Hiroshi Yamamoto – Olympic Archer from Japan

The last couple of days were super crazy.

A couple days ago, I went to this Tokyo event and met a lady who was a filmmaker. Immediately I saw that I had a dream about her. I was asking her in the dream if editing was easy and she said yes and showed me. This event was “prophesied” to me also through this editing job a friend posted. I knew nothing about editing and thought that I wanted to learn….and then God brought an editor to me so I don’t have to learn it! (not right away anyway).

We both had this vision to create a short webseries featuring Japan, she encouraged me to go talk to the right person about it. I didn’t want to jump into anything but she said “sometimes when a door is open, you must just jump”.

She said “everything will come easy to us”.

That night I saw a smiling and bold Japanese woman dancing in a group and went to dance with them, turns out the director of the tourism group was dancing in that group. I then told them about our idea. I asked the woman if she was Christian and she said she was Catholic. When I looked her up she was actually an actress that I’ve seen on TV.

That night both the filmmaker and I won hotel nights in Tokyo. No kidding. God does provide.

Last night I had a dream I went to Taiwan and met with a childhood friend. Not only did I meet a Taiwanese girl who was 9 MONTHS PREGNANT (this is significant) on the Lyft ride today but at night the Lord told me to go to Ten Ren Restaurant and I met a Taiwanese girl who was also Christian. The food was not great and I felt led to leave, so I told them and they kindly voided my transaction (when I wanted to at first sit there and eat food that was too salty I heard the Lord say “fear of rejection”, meaning when we don’t speak up for what we want, it’s because we are afraid of rejection or disapproval).

I also met a man who was studying Chinese….

“Are you Irish?” I asked.

“YES”

“OMG” – Jesus got it right again. I said that I’ve been watching Conan since last night and he is Irish. He was often alone studying Chinese, I could tell he had a hard time relating to people and opening his heart.

So I left Ten Ren and went to a bakery.

While I was talking about my incident at Ten Ren to the cashier and man angrily yelled “THERE ARE PEOPLE WAITING IN LINE”. He yelled to me.

I was shocked. I looked around and saw that others were also staring at him.

I told him that I was sorry but he did not need to yell.

He said “well, you’re f@#$king wrong”.

I then left the cafe but decided to go back as I was not going to be intimidated. The Lord showed me that he was hurt and that’s why he lashed out.

I am telling my friend about this incidence when my phone dies.

Right away I see an employee walk out. I follow her and ask her if she heard the man yelling. She said she didn’t but she felt sorry for me. We chit chatted and I suddenly asked “would you be able to give me a ride home?”

Now when we got in the car I learned that she was also Catholic and I said that I saw a vision of her singing and she said she loves to sing. I said that she was also an artist. She said that she could feel negative auras from people.

Now more incidences like this have happened in my lifetime, everyday, but I felt a strong breakthrough in the Spirit today.

Why?

Well, fundraising have been extremely slow. In fact, funds were so low I didn’t think I would be able to go out at all. In fact, I had to fundraise for food money. But then I had a dream that a friend gave me $20, this morning my mom gave me $20 for food. I thought that the lack of funds were an indication that I should stop ministry.

What’s more?

I had an intense pain in my stomach last night and had to diarrhea. It hurt so much I thought I was going to faint. And I was suddenly coughing and sniffly.

And now I’m suddenly fine.

The warfare was thick, mostly having to do with feeling condemned and feeling lack, feeling like I wasn’t doing enough and being yelled at by my mother. But I realize the enemy has been trying to stop me from ministering to people, through a fear of lack, a lack of finances, or making me feel like I’m not doing the right thing (spirit of condemnation). I actually thought maybe I should stop ministry and get a normal job, and move to the ocean so I don’t have to talk to anyone….but today the Lord showed me what the strategy of the enemy was all alone. I shall not give up.

I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Luke 10:19

Prayer Request- Protection from physical attacks, spirit of infirmity, pray for God’s continual provision, pray God protects the mind of those connected to my ministry. I see another strategy of the enemy is to have people turn against me or put strange thoughts in their mind about me.

Did The Prophets In The Bible Have Friends? How To Overcome Rejection.

animal-photography-block-wall-blue-sky-3069334

This is a real question I googled and apparently Jeremiah didn’t have many friends or family. In fact, he was not allowed to marry- wow God seriously?

But in reality my ministry begun alone (with God and His angels).

I traversed across the ocean, flying to other countries with God’s voice leading me. No one else told me what to do and no one else was next to me.

No one talked to me everyday, God did though. I didn’t text someone 24/7 complaining that I had to walk around with my suitcase, being led by God’s voice. I didn’t have someone to complain to constantly that God was making me stay at hostels to minister to the youth. And yes maybe I did complain on Facebook but my job hasn’t been easy.

I don’t think people really want to hear the truth.

They want to hear it when nothing else worked in their life and they are desperate for change.

People want to hear the truth when they want to be set free and they realize wow my life sucks and I’m stuck. I need solutions.

I understand because I’ve been there.

I struggled with my problems alone and rarely told any of my friends. But God did give me the truth and I listened.

When I was dating men that were unhealthy for me, I didn’t tell people. I didn’t tell my friends so that they couldn’t tell me what to do.

I’ve had to tell people-

  1. To break up with their partners, toxic husbands/wives, girlfriend, boyfriend
  2. To quit their job and leave their city
  3. To give money in order to break off the stronghold and spirit of lack

I’ve had to do things like-

  1. Confront 6-7 flight attendants about how one flight attendant treated me and that led me to minister to her, it was a divine appointment, she felt like she was lacking and I spoke words of life over her.
  2. Ask people if I could stay with them (someone I just met on a plane). I prophesied that they would become preachers. One woman had marital issues in her life for which God had a word to deliver her. Whether she listened or not I have no idea.
  3. Ask strangers for rides (they were divine appointments God set up for me)
  4. Ask strangers to buy me food (and yes it turned out they were divine appointments I was to prophesy over. One girl just saw someone die on the plane as she was a flight attendant so she started crying and I prayed over her and became her friend).
  5. Ask strangers for money (to break open their hearts and to conquer the fear of rejection and judgement, to break the religious spirit). God told me to ask this couple for money in New Zealand and the husband was fiercely religious and fiercely judgmental. He asked me “do you always ask people for money?” and then I had to explain that I used to work a lot but God has been teaching me the practice of humility and asking for help. Imagine the fear I felt and how intimidated I became after, but God showed me no I’m trying to break open this man’s heart.
  6. Tell my testimony at an open mic
  7. Ask a pastor of a church I just went into if I could share my testimony in front of the congregation- and the answer was no, but he did let me share it when I wasn’t on stage. Weird.
  8.  Wake up at 5am so I could run and meet a divine appointment God ordained at a bus stop
  9. Get on a bus, then God told me to get off so I could meet a drunk divine appointment who then I was supposed to go with to stay with (and it wasn’t him) but then I met a father and daughter I was supposed to stay with on the bus. God sent me to him to break off condemnation and free him from guilt.
  10. Ask to pray for a boy in a Macdonald’s playground in front of his mother and other people. And turns out two of the mothers were Christian and I got to share my testimony of following the Spirit with them.
  11. Ask two men to buy me an ice cream cone. And then they forgot so God told me to pursue them (like I walked inside the shop and asked them if they forgot about me) and it turns out the one from Africa was a lost sheep. At that time I did not even have much money to spare on an ice cream cone so God was using my need to force me to reach out to the divine appointments. I sat there and started praying over this man, I told him “God has not forgotten you”. I could feel his pain but he looked emotionless.
  12. Ask backpackers for help to pay for my hostel stay. The hostel claimed I didn’t yet pre-pay for my stay so I didn’t know what to do. I looked to my right and God said ask him for help. So I ended up visiting 10 groups of backpackers to ask for help and it ended up being opportunities for me to share what I do and prophesy over all of them, sharing Jesus with them.

13. Ask strangers if I can pray for them. Now God has “upgraded” my ways of ministering. Sometimes He will bring me to a restaurant that has awful food and ask me to return it so that I could end up ministering to them (not always, but it’s to break off any fear of men and what people will think of me AND NO I DON’T DO IT ALL THE TIME BECAUSE I’M AFRAID).

Do I complain to God? Yes, all the time. I even tell God that I hate Him sometimes. We have a very special relationship where HE knows He can trust me but what He tells me to do is never in my comfort zone.

Prophesy is meant to open peoples’ hearts to the reality of Jesus’ love for them. When people are willing to help or give to a prophet it means their hearts are open to God. One time I met a group of Indians and God said ask them for a donation. Imagine coming from a 1st world country and asking Indians for a donation.

Only one person gave, and he was the one who was most open to Jesus as they were all buddhist.

But then you’d be surprise because in Mexico God had me ask a universalist for a donation and she openly said yes and hugged me.

I wasn’t rejected.

God doesn’t want us to live in fear of men. So he constantly forces me to walk out in boldness. And YES IT’S SCARY FOR ME, it’s not EASY.

When I receive a donation, I also feel loved and accepted. I feel the grace of God over me. But then when I’m rejected I also learn that a no is not an indication of your worth and it builds tenacity inside of me to keep putting my heart out there and opening my heart.

I’ve had to approach strangers to pray for them and in turn I get yelled at.

The list goes on and there are thousands of stories.

But is it hard to be normal as a prophet? Well, you’re definitely not normal and what God tells you to do is far from normal. But you have to accept your purpose and calling and realize it’s okay to be alone sometimes. That God is always with you. And that most people may not understand you. But when you find your people, it’s extra special.

And yes you will face many fears. Fear of men, fear of the unknown, fear of lack, fear of judgement and rejection. And you will face them head on. There’s no going around it.

I tried to just have fun at a wine bar in Cancun but found out I can’t really relate to normal people. Everyone just got really drunk and I felt a bit out of place. Three girls got married and signed a fake marriage certificate. One hopped on the bar table, it was funny but again I felt out of place.

But it’s possible to have fun as a prophet, it really is. You may not have fun the same way as others and it’s okay. I personally love dancing. I may not join with drunkenness but I can still have fun. Don’t get me wrong, I am not perfect and I have my moments.

I am a 31 year old virgin who has never had sex, though I’ve had my share of promiscuous moments. I’m like David in a sense. Imagine how hard it is to navigate the dating world, tell someone you are a prophet and then the questions ensue….

So whoever I marry needs to be fiercely close to God.

I’m not a saint who doesn’t like sex or wants to be unmarried, I’m a saint who wants to have sex and is waiting for my husband. So imagine navigating that.

Two of the first people I ministered to in a hostel in Korea.

I met thousands of people but to most people not “friends” for life. So the sad part is I have to move on and know I’m not there to fit in or be accepted by people. I am accepted by God.

When you tell people the truth that they probably don’t want to hear, you’re seen as overbearing or even bossy.

And the sad thing is they don’t realize you have emotions and feelings too.

Yes prophets get hurt, please respect our boundaries. We are human too.

The conclusion is, yes we have friends but sometimes not many because people are afraid that we will tell them something they don’t want to hear, and it freaks people out….even if the truth will set them free!

Women Arise!!! – Prophetic Word For Women

You need to rise because the world needs to HEAR your voice and YOUR tv show FULL VOLUME.

I had a dream where I was on a bus. In the bus were men and women but at several stops I saw young women, in their teens getting off the bus to please these men. I started shouting and asking the women to respect themselves, but they didn’t listen. I also saw blood shed and people getting murdered. At the end as I was running up the stairs to the exit, I saw a body slashed and drop under the wooden planks. The finale. Something is about to break, something that has tied you down for too long.

When I woke up, God gave me revelation. He said “you will lead a generation of women to freedom”. The men in the dream represented Shame, Guilt, Blame, and Accusation.

When sex and any sexuality is involved in a dream it means “engagement”, “involvement”, “soul ties”. It is possible for everyone of any gender to submit themselves to the spirit of shame, guilt, blame and accusation and I believe that a generation of women has been under these for too long. God is about to set you free.

It is NOT your fault that men harass you on the streets. It is NOT your fault that the world is the way it is and that you have been held back for so long. As hard as you tried, you felt like you weren’t making any progress.

Many of you didn’t know how to speak up for yourself, in your family, in your workplace, in politics, in your relationship. You felt muted. You felt like a tv playing out scenes but not being heard. You were muted by too many people around you. You were the pretty wife, the perfect mom but inside you were broken, you needed help, you wanted someone to see you, not for what you do for others but for who you are.

You wanted to know that “you are enough”.

I have a word for you today!

Arise! It is time for you to take authority and say to those accusations, “I am free in Christ Jesus”. I am free from shame, blame, guilt and accusation.

Perfect love casts out fear because fear has to do with punishment. There is no punishment in love, only forgiveness and love.

You are going to rise to the top….I mean in authority over: SELF BLAME! Self hatred! Accusations! Guilt!

You can rise to the top in everything in your life and still feel the above feelings….and NEVER feel enough, never feel like you DESERVE the life you want.

God is saying you deserve it. You need to rise because the world needs to HEAR your voice and YOUR tv show FULL VOLUME. Your life NEEDS to be on FULL VOLUME even when it’s hard for others to hear, even when they don’t understand your language yet, even when your language is TOO sophisticated for small minds.

Don’t Be Afraid To Stand Out- The New SEASON

19105507_10158849569960603_8203678860363356157_n

I just wanted to show you my new hair by hairstylist Stephanie Markel of Tru Salon.

Well, I kind of didn’t realize that people would be staring at me after I got my hair done. I can’t hide anymore. I used to hide, because I didn’t want the unwanted attention. I didn’t want people to talk to me all the time…but now I really can’t hide.

This marks a new season for me and I’m sure for many of you.

It’s a new season of stepping out. You’re going to have to take risks, be vulnerable, do things you’ve never done or have not done for a long time. You’re going to have to open your heart to new people and trust that God will protect it. You’re going to have to be open about who you really are.

You’ve been hurt before, but you grew stronger in the healing.

Your bones are stronger though it was broken.

It is okay that you may be sad about letting go of the past, letting go of control and how things used to be. In the wilderness, things were predictable for me…I knew what to expect…but now being thrown into the rainbows and universe, I find myself clenching onto what little control I have.

But I hear “relax, let go, go with the flow”.

It’s a new season.

Are you ready?

Rewrite your dreams, dream again. You are not the same person, you know who you are. You may have to let go of how you thought your life should have been, or become. Your destiny is greater than a generic life.

Write your own chapter. Sing your own song. Dye your hair purple and blue, look like a mermaid or a troll.

Don’t be afraid to stand out.

Overcoming The Fear of Failure

10933790_10155121400710603_5535846264808152683_n
I believe it was May 1 when God gave me the go ahead to start pursuing opportunities again. To be honest, I was hesitant. I had been in a year of waiting season, healing and restoring brokenness in my heart and allowing God to take away the lies and fears that had boggled up my being.
And the biggest breakthrough in April? My dad asked me for forgiveness for not being there for most of my life.
I needed to hear it. I needed to know that he cared.
And somehow his caring broke open a part of my heart that had been closed off for so long.
It wasn’t my fault after all that my dad neglected his responsibility to care for me.
It wasn’t my fault that my parents divorced, it wasn’t my fault that I lived my early life full of fear, desperation, depression, striving, toil. Even writing about this again causes tears to well up.
I didn’t realize this but I lived in a way where “God if I just do this right, if I just make the right decision then my life will be good. If you just tell me what to do, if you tell me what is good and bad, then I won’t screw up my life more than it is already.”
I was scared of making mistakes, I was scared that I had truly ruined my life somehow with the decisions I had made.
Perfectionism.
Pressure.
Condemnation.
Those were things I felt and lived under.
rebekka3
Grace says “you are enough”, your decisions don’t affect my plan for your life. You are not under judgement anymore. You are in relationship. Trust your gut. Trust that I will never leave or forsake you.
As I venture into new territory, reclaiming the things that was barred from me, reopening lost opportunities, I am learning to trust that God is truly with me. I won’t be afraid of rejection anymore because I know that these rejections only say “something better is waiting for you”. Just this morning, my previous commercial acting agent told me they won’t be able to sign me again. I am relieved because I know God is working a whole new thing for me and I can trust a better thing is waiting for me.
“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32

Photos by Patrick.
I took these photos a few years ago in Hollywood Hills and I knew God had put a calling on my heart to thrive in the entertainment industry. Somehow I went to auditions after auditions for 2 years and the opportunities I did get were reality and travel shows. I felt like every door was shut to me and as hard as I tried, doors were locked.
Then I was called into a season of rest. May 1, 2017- we are finally out of the waiting room and into the big arena. Yesterday I finally got to see my neighbor’s music studio. His name is Joseph. I am reminded that Joseph had to go through the prison to go to the palace. But he never lost his dreams.
May we carry on knowing that every dream in our heart is a dream from the maker and that we were conceived to actualize and manifest those dreams into reality.

Kismet & The Power of Growing In Grace

Today was a magical day.

I feel like a new person.
True, after years of lament and grieving over the past, after feeling numb, I went through 12 seasons of healing…or more.
Sometimes I just felt like shit for no reason. Sometimes I woke up heavy, asking what was the purpose of it all.
All of this came from broken places within me. Grief of losing a best friend, grief of a broken heart from a long term relationship, I had to let everything fall to pieces and rest in the finished work. I was pushing really hard in my career but it seemed nothing was working and God was telling me to back down.
I had to believe God in the process.
And even though many a times there was not a smile on my face, there was not a feeling or desire to dance, socialize or make friends…how could I when everything I had known was too good. Could I have that again? Being known without words? To be appreciated that way?
The healing process is slow and tedious, it is like having the last inch of hope, crawling, lying down.
I think when God told me to sell everything and follow Him, it was a literal and spiritual sense of letting go of what I thought I wanted.
Even though we think we have big dreams, our idea of what our life should look like often is not holistic.
For example, we want a husband, a house, a good career yet we have broken relationships with our parents. In fact, some of us hope to build a life when we haven’t talked to our parents for 10 years or we have deep distrust of men but we hope we meet prince charming.
These are contradictory.
God will not force onto you what you are not ready for. That is why the way of grace teaches us to wait upon the Lord.
I know as humans we want things to happen fast, but I have found the way of grace, it teaches us that healing our being is not automatic, it is a process of relationship with God.
God will not give you what you are not mature enough to handle…..and we can hustle, push for it outside of flow and grace…..and that is when dysfunction happens.
Trust the process.
In all the waiting I have found that God really does know better. Even though I often struggled with “not knowing”, I found peace in the rest and grace of God.
Everyday was an act of surrender.
I learned to say no continuously to the things that did not feel right. I trusted God’s voice to not pursue opportunities and doors that were opened to me, I asked God for each decision.
It’s definitely not easy, but it is worth it. Today I enjoyed a nice dinner and cocktail, and then suddenly felt an impulse to do yoga. I have NOT actively exercised, besides walk everywhere. Even though I felt groggy, I knew that it was part of my healing and that I needed to allow myself to just be, to be okay with the process of rest (sometimes just resting in bed).
Sometimes I felt bad for gaining weight, but then I would hear God say “it’s okay, you are perfect”. And I knew that I needed exercise to come from a place of desire rather than a place of lack.
I desire to feel good in my skin versus I’m not GOOD enough so I need to lose weight and look good.
I needed my inner glory to match my physical glory.
And so I ran, I ran to the yoga place. I didn’t think I could do it, the hot yoga, but I felt every piece of the past fall off me, sweat off me.
“I am more powerful than I know”. Even after months of rest, I was more powerful physically than I knew.
Afterwards, I was waiting for the bus and turned around….it was a friend I had met online, eating inside a restaurant with a friend. OMG.
I ran in and talked to them. This was an online friend I met via our blogs.
Kismet.
Then I talked to a hot fireman and must I say, I have not talked to anyone of the prospective male species for awhile. And it felt good. To be like available emotionally again.
So happy birthday to me, February is my birthday month and I am excited.

You Have A Clean Slate for 2017

hope-youhad-a-scarygood-time

In 2016 I was healed of FOMO (fear of missing out).

I had probably read too many travel blogs and was hoping my 2016 would be non-stop traveling and well, it wasn’t. In fact, I rested, wrote and painted a lot. I actually stayed in LA for a consecutive 3 months. Yes I did fly to Paris to film a travel show, Morocco to backpack, and then to the Philippines for another show…but when I came back from Cebu in June, the most out of state traveling I did was a cruise to Mexico.

Also the last few years, I happened to be traveling during the holidays. On my birthday 2 years ago, I traveled to Catalina Island and spent a few days alone.

Instead of the “hoo-haa I want to party and dance”, I did not feel that way this year. I was okay staying in and watching Netflix. I was comfortable with the peace of just being with God. Peace was something I attained more of in 2016 and I realized it was better than the crazy drunkenness that comes with partying.

Peace was better than dating guys that messed up my peacequilibrium.

Peace was better than forcing myself to attend family events where I would be attacked verbally.

Peace was better than spending time with people who were constantly striving because they don’t know their worth.

Peace was better than the struggle of speeding into other peoples’ lanes because of jealousy. You see, there are dreams that people have that are not YOURS. Know your vision, know your dreams, know what you want and don’t go hopping into other peoples’ lanes because you have a minute of jealousy.

Shut off your phone, laptop. Unplug for a minute. Sync with God. You are enough, here and now….not when you achieve something else, when you attain something more, or when you meet the right person…you are enough now.

Stay in your lane, focus on your life. Don’t go “but they’re doing this or that….”.

I learned that if it is God, it feels peaceful. I learned that if it was the right way to go, it is peace. Yes, new paths might be scary, but deep down there exists a tremble of excitement. A scary excitement. 2017 will bring new levels of promotion, love and joy.

I see your past wiped out, you have a clean slate for a new life. Forgive yourself. Let the past go. Let’s move forward together. Are you in?
