Bio

I have experience playing cello at weddings, banquets, receptions for numerous weddings and events (police department banquets, eagle scout banquets, various weddings from Chinese to American to Brazilian)  I also have experience playing piano at weddings.  My mother is a piano teacher, I grew up playing piano and keyboard.  I have been playing cello since the age of nine.  I was in orchestra from 4th grade to senior year in Arcadia High School, ending up as section leader in the highest level,  Orchestra 3.  I have also been on the church worship team for 7 years and have been a cello/ piano teacher for many years.

I’ve played with several bands in venues such as Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, amongst others. I’ve also recorded for indie films.

I am efficient, a great sight reader, on time, musical and RESPONSIBLE!

Rates For Wedding/Event Musician

My rates varies depending on deferring circumstances such as:

*Whether I’m playing solo or in an ensemble

*Time- ceremony and/ or reception

I can find an ensemble group for you, or you can find them yourself (you will pay them separately, I am hired as an individual).  Based on preference, some people look for a piano and cello duet, some a three people trio, some just a cello soloist for a simple and romantic feel. Solo piano is easiest to coordinate.

Weddings

I have the strongest expertise in playing for weddings. I believe my strength is being able to play anything you want (as long as the sheet music exists), I am willing to try anything! Possibilities:

Jay Chou: Korean drama songs: Japanese songs: Blue Moon: Fly Me to the Moon: Kenny G: Contemporary songs: R&B: Alicia Keyes: Canon: Final Fantasy: ..etc. (basically anything that can be played on the piano)

Gigs with Bands:

I am a prolific music reader and am even more prolific in playing improv!!! You need a cellist- call me ASAP. I am most reliable and you don’t have to worry about me not being on time or not knowing how to play things!
